Zeolites are essential in refining and petrochemicals but have narrow micropores that limit efficiency. While mesoporous zeolites offer superior catalytic performance, they have been commercially overlooked due to high production costs and scalability issues.

Zeopore’s mesoporized catalysts significantly improve:

  • FCC (Fluid Catalytic Cracking): Higher middle distillate yields (diesel, jet fuel) and increased light olefin production (propylene, butane isomers).

  • Hydrocracking (HDC): Greater middle distillate output, higher conversion, and extended catalyst life.

  • Dewaxing: Improved iso-selectivity with reduced losses in both fossil and bio-renewable feedstocks.

4. Scaling for industrial production

Zeopore has launched a 150-ton semi-industrial unit in Leuven, Belgium, optimizing processes and delivering first industrial volumes. Expansion continues with new operators and process intensification, progressing toward a fully autonomous industrial-scale production facility.
